They both knew they were blessed to have such caring families, and to have found each other - true love - added that extra touch of sweetness to their lives. Their story began years ago, where they ran in the same circle of friends in high school. Little did they know that soon after, and miles apart at college, that their hearts would one day be bound together in love. Forever.
Lyndsey and Matt, from our first meeting, I could see that sparkle in your eyes when you'd talk to each other and talk about your plans for the future. I'm so excited for you both, and I wish you all the happiness you could ever hope for. Thank you for sharing this special time with me, it was truly an honor to document it. Family and friends of Lyndsey and Matt may view their online gallery here.
The day started at Fishers United Methodist Church.
Lyndsey couldn't help but smile the entire day.
You were a stunning bride, Lyndsey, just beautiful.
Ok, so perhaps I went a little overboard with bridal portraits...can you blame me?
These two knew how to work it for the camera. Fierce and fabulous, I love it!
Once Lyndsey and her bridesmaids were safely hidden away, it was time for Matt and his crew
to rock out some portraits.
Meet Cooper, the handsome ring bearer.
Mother of the Bride, Connie, and her son, Andrew share a hug in the aisle just before the ceremony begins. I love moments like this!
Matt sees his bride for the first time!
Sunlight streamed in through beautiful stained glass, so beautiful!
It's official!
So happy together!
Their first few moments alone as husband and wife. One of many favorites from the day!
Lyndsey and Matt, I'm so thankful that you planned this special time before your reception for portraits of just the two of you. The light and scenery on the River Glen Country Club grounds were amazing, and the two of you made it magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
See what I mean, magic! Another favorite!
I could have kept Lyndsey and Matt outside all evening for photos, but alas, it was time for the party to start! Their gorgeous wedding cake was a delight to photograph!
Matt kept this military coin in his pocket the entire day, in honor of their friend serving in the military oversees. What a great way to incorporate someone so special to them!
Smiles, tears, and laughter during the evening's toasts.
Lyndsey's Grandfather sang them a song, and everyone sat in awe listening to his voice.
Time to cut the cake!
And then a sweet first dance...
Watching her daughter dance with her father:
I love how Matt and Lyndsey make each other laugh, especially during the garter toss!
The bride and groom and all their wedding guests kept the dance floor packed all night! It was the perfect party to celebrate a perfect day!
Lyndsey and a sweet embrace from her Grandmother.
From the first song to the last, this crowd knew how to party!
A sweet send-off for wedding guests at the end of the evening!
Matt's brothers and friends wrap Lyndsey with their flag:
I'll end with this image because it sums up the day... the joy, love, and friendship that surround Lyndsey and Matt as they start this new chapter of their lives together:
Oh Lyndsey and Matt, what a wonderful day you had! I'm so happy that you chose me to document this moment in your lives! You are the epitome of the perfect couple; the way you treat each other with love, kindness, and respect is really beautiful to witness. I absolutely loved meeting your friends and families, all so sweet and welcoming and tons and tons of fun! Thank you for entrusting this honor to me! I can't wait to see you again soon!
