Recently, I blogged one of my newest products, the Custom Mini Accordion.  Well, I have a few more items to show you that I think you'll love!  First is another size option for the Custom Mini Accordion, which is 2.5"x3.5"versus 3"x3".  This next sample shows a pretty pink cloth cover and features this little cutie's adorable family session and cake smash.

Raegan, you are adorable!!!

This Custom Accordion is 4"x8", which is still a great size to carry in your bag to show to friends and family.  This sample features favorites from Ashley's beautiful fall senior session.
I absolutely love how this turned out!

Gorgeous, Ashley!!!

Clients, if you are interested in one of these Custom Accordions to show off your favorite images, please contact me for details!  They make wonderful gifts too!

Happy Monday!

Stewart Imagery's First Bridal Show!

If you follow Stewart Imagery on Facebook, you probably saw the post regarding the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show at the gorgeous Scottish Rite Cathedral.  Well, it was my first bridal show... and it was such a fun and exciting experience!  I must start by thanking my wonderfully talented and creative husband, Reggie, for designing and building my booth!  I gave him a wish list of ideas, and he made them come to life, and it turned out so much better than I could have dreamed!  Countless hours were spent daydreaming, planning, designing, building, painting, decorating, deconstructing, transporting, setting up, and tearing down.  With only about 4 hours of sleep the night before the show, we were running on coffee, but more so on the exhiliration that comes with meeting and talking to hundreds of new people in a lively and oh so beautiful environment!  Despite the snowy weather, everything came together perfectly.  We had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful and excited newly engaged brides and couples and their families.  Thank you to all brides, vendors, and friends who came to visit us over the 2 day show!

A little something was created for each bride on the spot to celebrate their engagement!
P.S. Isn't this a gorgeous engagement ring?  Wowza!

Was it difficult to plan for the bridal show?  Yes, planning for a bridal show took a lot of time and effort.  Was I nervous?  You betcha!  This was my first event like this, and it seemed that everyone else had been doing this for years, and knew just what to do and what to expect.  Would I do it again?  Definitely!  I tend to be on the shy side when I'm not behind my camera, however, stepping out of my comfort zone, putting my work out there, meeting new people, and trying something new was all worthwhile.  And the feedback we received about our presentation was tremendous, so that was definitely a bonus and made us feel that all of the hard work had paid off!

Thanks again to all who visited Stewart Imagery at the show!
Cheers to an amazing 2014!

A special thank you to our dear friend Tracy who volunteered to help us tear down
and pack up at the end of the event!  We are so grateful for that!!!
And to my parents for taking such great care of our little Remington while we were there! We love you so much!

Maternity Leave + A Sneak Peek at Our Newest Addition

Pin It Last Friday afternoon will be one that I'll never forget!  I called Reggie to tell him he needed to come home...I was pretty sure that my water had broken!  We slowly made our way to the doctor's office in Friday rush hour traffic.  They confirmed that, yes, indeed, my water had broken, and we were admitted to the hospital.  Within 24 hours, we laid eyes on our newest addition, our first child, our son, Remington James!  I'll save the rest of the details for his newborn post, but for now, here is a quick peek thanks to our camera phones:

While I'm on maternity leave, I will be occasionally checking in to share photos and tidbits about our sweet baby boy.  We are enjoying spending quality time together as a new family, as well as adjusting to becoming parents.  I truly appreciate your patience during this very special time in our lives.  I will respond to calls and emails within 2-4 business days.  To schedule a session for Fall 2012 and beyond, please email me at stewartimagery@hotmail.com.  Thank you for your patience, thoughts, and well wishes as we start this amazing journey of parenthood!  Pin It

Pin It Need a unique gift idea for someone on your holiday shopping list? Gift Certificates are now available! How about surprising a friend or family member with a photo session this coming spring? Know a Bride-to-Be who would love some fun bridal portraits before or after her wedding day? Or what about that family who always says they need some new family photos? What a great stocking stuffer! The recipient can schedule their session when they choose and have you to thank for it!

Each Gift Certificate includes a Stewart Imagery photo, certificate, details of the session, and envelope. And there will be a little surprise for you too!

You may remember that my husband Reggie has a collection of nutcrackers. This one is a favorite! I updated his portrait a bit while decorating last weekend. ;)

Unveiled: The Day After Session: Ashley

I am so excited to present The Day After session! Now not only is your wedding day all about you, but also The Day After! Past, present and future brides, get out your wedding gown, veil, shoes, and any accessories you wore or would love to wear. The goal of this session is to get some gorgeous portraits of you in all of your fabulous wedding finery in a location other than your original one. Everyone knows just how hectic the Big Day can be, and usually the time goes by so quickly. Too quickly! There's usually not much chance to get as many creative, fun, sassy, and unique portraits, like all brides and brides-to-be deserve. That's where The Day After session comes to the rescue! I will admit, I'm not to first to come up with this idea, of course, but I just love this session, and cannot wait to do more! We chose this cool, urban location for my beautiful friend Ashley's shoot.

Work it!

Ashley, you are gorgeous!
This is one of my favorites.

Another favorite!

Something old, something new...

Something borrowed, something blue...

Seriously hot! Ashley, your hubby will love this!

Dress and Ring Bling!

Getting all dressed up is so fun!

Ashley, thank you so much for making this such an amazing shoot!
You are a fabulous friend, and your support and encouragement mean the world to me.

It's your turn to put your own new twist on the old phrase: "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue!" The more props and accessories, the better! And getting hair and makeup done is highly recommended. Like I said, this session is all about you and can be done at any time - a week, a month, or even years after your wedding! Please email me at stewartimagery@hotmail.com for more details.
