Morris-Butler House + Flat 12 Bierwerks Wedding | Anne + Nick

Pin It I've been so excited about sharing more from Anne and Nick's Cinco de Mayo wedding at the Morris-Butler House and Flat 12 Bierwerks!  The day couldn't have been more beautiful with bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds, colorful details, and all the happy smiling faces.  And two faces that shined brighter  because they are better together - Anne and Nick.   Let's pick up where we left off, just as they shared their First Look.  Friends and family can view their entire gallery here.

Anne and Nick, you were so stunning on your wedding day!

Favorite!

This gorgeous necklace belonged to Anne's Grandmother.  It was also worn by Anne's sister, Audrey, at her wedding 5 years ago.  (Happy Anniversary, Audrey and Phil!)

It is a family tradition to play the bagpipes at weddings.  The bride's uncle is so talented, and it just added another personal and unique element to the day.

Ceremony time!

Gorgeous sunlight streamed through Anne's veil as she made her entrance.

Married!!!

Random wedding guests were given flowers to fill this cool vase, handmade by the groom.  Anne and Nick added two roses during the ceremony.  Such a lovely, creative way to symbolize their union and that of their families!

Nick's handmade vases were filled with fresh herbs and decorated each table at the reception.

The groom also made their cupcake stand!

I love that their First Dance song was perfectly them.

They sang to each other the whole time, it was so sweet to witness.

One proud Father of the Bride.

And Nick and his Mom had a fun time dancing and singing too.

Bright florals, sparkly bling!

John + Amy + Danielle + Jan + Romeo

Pin It We couldn't have asked for a more lovely evening for family portraits!  I met up with John, Amy, Danielle, John's sister Jan, and their sweet pup, Romeo to roam one of their favorite places in the city.  The session had been a long time in the making, and for good reason.  Their other daughter, Brittany, would be home for a week from serving in the peace corps.  Unfortunately, she wasn't able to join us after all, but she was dearly missed by her family.  Brittany, I hope to get to meet you the next time you are in the States!  In the meantime, I hope these photos will bring you some hope and joy knowing that these people love you and miss you so much!  Keep up your wonderful work, what an inspiration you are!  And a big thank you to John, Amy, Danielle, Jan - thank you for making our session so much fun!  You are such a beautiful family, inside and out!  Friends and family can view their entire gallery here.  Let's get right to some images, shall we?

Meet 8 year old beauty, Danielle!

John and his kind and lovely sister, Jan.

These next few with Danielle and little Romeo are some of my favorites!

Looooove.

Danielle!!!  You are gorgeous!  Those sparkling green eyes!  Favorite!

When I spoke to John a while back about their session, he mentioned that he and Amy had not had many photos taken of just the two of them since their wedding...so we made it happen!
And I must say I love all of these!

Amy, you are g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s.

Did I mention that the light this evening was absolutely perfect?

Another favorite!

Romeo, O Romeo, thou art such a cute little ham for the camera!  ;)

Seriously beautiful.

Love this one!

John, Amy, Danielle, and Jan, thank you so much for sharing your evening with me!  I had a blast and hope that you did too!  And Romeo, you are a total sweetheart!
