My cousin Lisa had a beautiful wedding at St. Patrick's Church in Kokomo, IN. I offered to take some photos, and I had a blast! Thank you so much! Congratulations, Lisa and Kyle!

The beautiful ceremony music was played by a family friend, making it all the more special.

Look at their excitement - they were just pronounced husband and wife!

The flower girl was very into her bubbles.

The newlyweds make their way to their getaway car.

The sun came out, what a perfect wedding day!

Lisa and Kyle were so cute during their first dance.

Time for cake!

Congratulations, Lisa and Kyle! Thank you for letting me a part of your special day!

I was so excited to photograph my good friends Ashley and Ben! As soon as I arrived at their home, we heard thunder...oh no! Downpour! For over an hour! So we went to dinner and hoped that the clouds would make way for some late evening sun. We got our wish! It was only sprinkling when we left the restaurant, so we made our way to our first spot, Potter's covered bridge. What a neat location! And these two are totally in love and not to mention photogenic! Happy 2 Year Anniversary!!! Thanks again for a great evening!

This misty setting was so cool on these old railroad tracks.

One of my favorites!

These two were up for anything! Forget traditional poses!

And a romantic, colorful sky over the lake to end the evening...

Thanks again, Ashley and Ben!

Baptism: Samantha

Pin It Sunday, August 31, 2008
Indianapolis, IN

I had the privilege of photographing the baptism of sweet Samantha. The weather was gorgeous, and the sun shined brightly that day on Church of the Holy Cross. Thank you again to Samantha's parents, Jenny and Andrew, for this special opportunity! Samantha is truly blessed with a nice, loving family and lots of new friends at Church of the Holy Cross.

At the beginning of Mass, everyone welcomes Samantha and congratulates the family. The actual sacrament of baptism is performed later in the Mass after the homily.

Samantha is baptised with holy water and blessed with holy oil. A candle is lit and held by her Godparents as a symbol of light to the world.

One of my favorites of the day!

All eyes on Samantha and her beautiful antique gown. Just precious!

I had the honor of photographing the proud parents-to-be on this lovely Sunday afternoon. Brooke and Brad are adorable together, and they were so excited for the arrival of their newest addition! Wesley was born on Wednesday, September 18, at 4:50am! Congratulations, Brooke and Brad, and to Tyler, Wesley's older brother. Thank you for the opportunity to capture this special time in your lives.

I enjoyed making a mini album for baby Wesley, filled with his Mom's favorite photos before he came into this world.

What a beautiful day for a wedding of two good friends! Just perfect! I would like to thank Kristen for the opportunity to shadow her photographer for the day. Katie is a friend of mine as well, and she was also my wedding photographer! She is truly passionate about her work, and it shows! What an inspiration! Thank you, Katie, for all of your help and encouragement and the opportunity to see how you rock the camera! You are amazing!

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Purgatory Golf Club. The groom, groomsmen, and fathers had enjoyed the challenging 18 holes the day before...we'll let you ask them how they fared! Kristen and her bridesmaids and mothers had lunch and got manicures and pedicures before finishing some details for the reception.

Let's just get to the details of Kristen + Nick's gorgeous wedding day, shall we?

Gorgeous pink roses and berries for the bridesmaids, and pink roses and white Stephanotis for Kristen's bouquet.

White chairs, check!

What handsome groomsmen! Justin, Sean (Best Man), and Reggie (my husband!) smile while some formal portraits are being taken of the Bride and her family.

Thank you for being such good sports for this one! I love it!

Katie the photographer discovered the beautiful lighting for some bridal portraits before the ceremony. Splendid!

Kristen is walked down the aisle by her father as she spots her groom waiting for her...

Kristen and Nick had a sand ceremony, what a creative idea!

Lovely harp music, perfect for weddings!

Gorgeous centerpieces, lucky bamboo favors for guests, and cute programs!

The Bride & Groom's First Dance...all smiles!

One of my favorite outdoor photos - what a perfect day for a wedding of 2 wonderful people!

Katie works her magic...thanks again for all of your tips, Katie!

The couple is ready to depart in their getaway car.

Congratulations, Kristen and Nick!
