Newborn: Colin Robert: 19 days

Pin It I'm so happy to introduce another sweet newborn on my blog! You may recall Kristen and Nick's maternity session from a few months ago. (And feel free to take a peek at images from their rehearsal dinner and wedding as well.) These new, proud parents and their family have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this adorable baby boy...so please allow me to officially introduce Colin Robert! (If you missed Colin's Sneak Peek, click here!) I also asked Colin's parents some questions about how their lives have changed since his arrival.
Hi, Colin!
He was so curious about me and my little black noise-making box.

Arrival: February 3, 2010, 12:17pm, 7 pounds 14 ounces...
and 21.5 inches!

Favorite!

stewart imagery: What do you always want to remember from the day that Colin was born?
Nick + Kristen: The unexpected pure joy of becoming a family and realizing that our son was just born!

Colin was wide-awake and curious as to what was going on
for the first half of his session. Look at those eyes!

stewart imagery: Share a funny story about your first few days at home with Colin!
Nick + Kristen: Colin's first 'cold-air' pee! Watch out!

stewart imagery: What has been the best tips/advice from family or friends in helping care for a newborn?
Nick + Kristen: The sleeplessness is temporary, the joy of being a parent lasts forever.

stewart imagery: Who do you think Colin resembles most? Does it change from day to day?
Nick + Kristen: Colin resembles Colin. He is his own little person. He does have his dad's long, lanky arms and legs. And he has his grandpa's (1) dimple. Whether he has his mom's red hair is yet to be determined!

stewart imagery: How does it feel to be a parent? What do you enjoy most?
Nick + Kristen: Exciting. Fun. Overwhelming. Knowing that we get to raise our son. And love him. And care for him.

So precious! Another favorite!

stewart imagery: How has baby Colin changed your outlook on life?
Nick + Kristen: There are things in life so much bigger and more important than you ever thought possible.

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller,
home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

Nick and Kristen, thank you so much for the honor of capturing this exciting time in your lives! Colin is absolutely perfect! I cannot wait to watch him grow up! See you soon!
