A bit of a flair for advertising...
Happy Friday to you! You may recall this post from a few weeks ago...well, here are a few more images that I worked on just for fun. It was fun to put a bit of a twist on what I normally do...I felt like doing something with an advertisement style. Being stuck inside during this cold weather forces me to get creative. All of the following images feature something that I love, so maybe that's why I had fun with these! Each one has a caption, so you may need to click on each image to see it full-size to get a better view. :)
My husband is a huge fan of hot sauces of all kinds and varieties. Since meeting him, I must say my tolerance for all things spicy has greatly improved! But please beware of the Dave's Insanity sauce on the right...if you want to hear a funny story about me cooking with this particular bottle of instant wildfire, please leave a comment!
Let's just say smoke alarms, bouts of coughing, sweating, and drinking about any cold liquid in the refrigerator are involved in said story. Want my recipe?

These cute, warm gloves were a Christmas gift from one of my Aunts, aren't they adorable?

Mason: 1st year
Pin It
Just a year ago, a little girl was born to two people in love, who instantly fell head over heels in love with her, their sweet Mason. I've had the joy and honor of capturing this little beauty when she was a newborn, and every milestone since. And I must admit I am smitten with her too! She recently celebrated her 1st birthday, and continually charms me and those around her with her cuteness. Happy Birthday, Mason!
Mason waves at the camera...and then laughs at me for doing something silly.
Remember this trunk?
Mason loves bows and the color pink...so of course we had
to get a shot of some of her collection.
At her birthday party, she had her very own little pink cake. She had pink frosting all over...in her hair, behind her ears, on her nose, it was totally cute, totally 1st birthday style!
Mason, I'm saving the rest of those photos to show at your wedding! ;)
Mason, you are just adorable!
Thank you so much for letting me capture your 1st year, I can't wait to watch you grow!
Your parents are so proud of you, and it's easy to see why. See you soon!

I just love her sweet face and her energy. Don't you just want to hug her?!

Snow Day
Pin It
We've seen an abundance of snow here lately in the Midwest. And it has been so beautiful! Minus the dirty, crusty snow edging the roads, but oh well... Last week, my husband and I enjoyed our own Snow Day. After doing some cleaning around the house, we got bundled up in our warmest winter gear, loaded up a toboggan, and went sledding. It was a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures from our afternoon.
Reggie throws up some snow as he flies down the hill.
This particular sled is actually used on water, but it works here too!
I didn't take any photos of our toboggan this time...maybe soon!
Barren trees covered with a thick blanket of powdery, white snow.
Have you been sledding or playing in the snow recently? Leave a comment to share your story!
Have a great weekend!

Newborn: Nora Jane
Pin It
7 pounds, 11 ounces, 21 and 3/4 inches of cuteness.
One of my favorites!
Nora's dad explained that she loves to sleep with her hand by her face...it's true!
Meet Nora's big sis, Tabitha!
I just love the smile on her face here.

Tabitha is so proud of her new little sister...I just know they will be the best of friends.
Another fave!
Thank you, Travis, Michelle, Tabitha, and Nora!

Nora Jane, sweet little Nora Jane! This adorable angel has the warmest, kindest family anyone could ask for. And, Tabitha, she is so lucky to have you for her big sister! I have my good friend, Paula, to thank for introducing me to yet another awesome family. I know I probably sound like a broken record at times, but I can't help it! I love what I do, and it's because of the fabulous people, just like Travis, Michelle, Tabitha, and Nora Jane, that I get to share my passion with. Please allow me to introduce Miss Nora Jane!

Postcards from Sunny Florida!
Ok, so these aren't really postcards...but I'm sharing them anyway! Just a few more photos from Florida, in hopes that sunshine and warm weather will get here sooner rather than later, contrary to the predictions earlier this week by that famous little groundhog.
Believe it or not, these two photos were taken within minutes of each other...
I used a filter for the one one the left. Which version do you like the best?
There will still be more to come, as I work on these when I get a chance.
Wishing you a sunny day followed by a beautifully painted evening sky!

Happy Wednesday! Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!
I raided my own closet...I forgot I even owned most of these items!
I'll be doing more images like this, for sure! This was just too much fun!
Let me know what you think!
What are your favorite accessories, your vices when it comes to shopping? Fun heels...bags and purses...jewels and baubles? Do tell!!! As for me...I've got a thing for shoes!

Happy Wednesday to you! Everyone knows that famous 80's song by Cyndi Lauper...well, that was my theme for these next images. And did this girl have fun? Oh yes! You may ask, how did I come up with this? Good question! While visiting Reggie's Mom, she showed me some magazine photos of high-end fashion shoes paired with luxury jewels and designer bags, it was dazzling! Yes, I just said dazzling! So here's my twist on that...Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! (That song is going to be stuck in my head all day, nothin' wrong with that, right?)

She's got black stripes, razor-sharp claws, soft and fuzzy fur...and a football of her very own. Ok, so maybe the football doesn't belong to her, but I digress. However, she totally owns her game-face!
Bring it!
