Stewart Imagery's First Bridal Show!

If you follow Stewart Imagery on Facebook, you probably saw the post regarding the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show at the gorgeous Scottish Rite Cathedral.  Well, it was my first bridal show... and it was such a fun and exciting experience!  I must start by thanking my wonderfully talented and creative husband, Reggie, for designing and building my booth!  I gave him a wish list of ideas, and he made them come to life, and it turned out so much better than I could have dreamed!  Countless hours were spent daydreaming, planning, designing, building, painting, decorating, deconstructing, transporting, setting up, and tearing down.  With only about 4 hours of sleep the night before the show, we were running on coffee, but more so on the exhiliration that comes with meeting and talking to hundreds of new people in a lively and oh so beautiful environment!  Despite the snowy weather, everything came together perfectly.  We had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful and excited newly engaged brides and couples and their families.  Thank you to all brides, vendors, and friends who came to visit us over the 2 day show!

A little something was created for each bride on the spot to celebrate their engagement!
P.S. Isn't this a gorgeous engagement ring?  Wowza!

Was it difficult to plan for the bridal show?  Yes, planning for a bridal show took a lot of time and effort.  Was I nervous?  You betcha!  This was my first event like this, and it seemed that everyone else had been doing this for years, and knew just what to do and what to expect.  Would I do it again?  Definitely!  I tend to be on the shy side when I'm not behind my camera, however, stepping out of my comfort zone, putting my work out there, meeting new people, and trying something new was all worthwhile.  And the feedback we received about our presentation was tremendous, so that was definitely a bonus and made us feel that all of the hard work had paid off!

Thanks again to all who visited Stewart Imagery at the show!
Cheers to an amazing 2014!

A special thank you to our dear friend Tracy who volunteered to help us tear down
and pack up at the end of the event!  We are so grateful for that!!!
And to my parents for taking such great care of our little Remington while we were there! We love you so much!

Mustard Seed Gardens | Rustic Glam Styled Wedding Inspiration

There are ideas that you dream up and hope to one day fulfill.  That dream is crafted and perfected and idealized in your mind.  It consumes you.  There comes a point at which you have to act on it, or know that you'll one day wake up weeks, months, or years later wondering what could have been.  Until you ask.  So I asked and received a "Yes!"  After several yes's and some no's, a little dream of mine became a reality.  A sparkling gold with touches of aubergine and fuscia kind of reality!  With the generous help of several wedding industry peers, a late summer day was made brilliant, exciting, and oh so beautiful!  Please see all credits at the end of this post, plus a Slideshow with a few extra images!

Many, many thanks to this fine list of wedding professionals who gave of their valuable time and expertise, with our main goal of providing inspiration to future brides and grooms planning their special day.  It was an absolute pleasure to work with each and every one of you!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
