Noblesville Engagement | Adessa + Logan

They met through mutual friends, and quickly became high school sweethearts.  I remember meeting my nephew Logan's girlfriend.  She was shy and quiet, but her sweet smile warmed all of our hearts in an instant.  And she won over Remington too, of course!  Adessa and Logan are the perfect couple!  They love spending time together fishing, working out, and enjoying motorcycle rides through the great outdoors.  They just get each other.  Although their personalities are on the quieter side, once you get to know them and spend more time with them, you see exactly just how amazing they are together, drawing out each other's best qualities.  As you scroll through their images, you'll notice the way they look at each other.  The way they just light up in each other's presence.  All of that, plus the fact that they are downright good looking, makes them an absolute dream to photograph!  A couple of years ago, I had the honor of photographing Logan's senior session.  Adessa came along with us, keeping Logan smiling and collected, not to mention styled perfectly.  Throughout the day, I captured a few photos of the two of them, and at the end of session, I told them that I'd love to photograph their wedding one day!  Logan and Adessa's birthdays are just a couple of days apart during the Christmas holiday season.  They exchanged gifts early, and what awaited Adessa was a sparkling engagement ring!  We had another wonderful reason to celebrate during our family holiday dinner!  They've not yet set a date, but I just know that their wedding day will be absolutely amazing!  We met in Noblesville on a gorgeous spring afternoon for their engagement session.  Adessa and Logan, enjoy some of my many favorites from the day!  Love you both!

Oh, you two!!!  Love this!

This image.  One of my favorites of all time.

Can you blame me for also liking it in black and white?!

Lovelovelove!

Yessss!

What a stunning ring!  Good work, Logan, good work!

A favorite!

We took a quick break for dinner with our family and a wardrobe change before going to one more location for sunset.  Logan and Adessa love fishing and hiking, so they knew they'd love photos along the water and in the woods.  I was happy to oblige!

Stealing a kiss at sunset…perfection.

Adessa and Logan, thank you so much for such a sweet and fun-filled engagement session!  It was so much fun capturing your love and just how adorable you are together!   What a joy it is to celebrate this exciting season in your lives!  Congratulations!!!  So excited for you both!!!

An Indiana Summer Engagement | Kelly + Scott

It was a typical Midwestern summer day, however, aside from the heat and humidity, it was a gorgeous afternoon!  I met Kelly and Scott for portraits with their beloved 4-legged friends, who are just the sweetest and most laid-back bunch ever! After returning the dogs home and a quick wardrobe change, we were off to capture Kelly and Scott before their Big Day in just a few short weeks!  These two are smitten with each other, and I loved watching them make each other laugh and smile.  Scott supports Kelly with everything she wants to accomplish in life.  He makes her gorgeous blue eyes sparkle even brighter when he pulls her in close.  They met through a shared love of the game of golf.  In April 2013, they went to the Masters golf tournament in Georgia.  It just so happened that Kelly's Mom was traveling with them, privy to the secret proposal in store for her daughter.  And as you might guess, Kelly said Yes!  Kelly and Scott, it was so wonderful to spend some time with you both!  I am so excited for your wedding day!  Family and friends can view their entire online gallery here.  And now for some favorites from the day!

Meet Kelly and Scott's favorite furry friends, Jeeter, Kaiser, Duke, and little Bailey!

This pair loves being outdoors, whether its playing golf, spending time
with family and friends, or walking their pups, of course.

Love this!

Kelly, you are so pretty!  You are going to be one stunning bride!

Did I mention that we had amazing light during our session?

And I just couldn't leave out this one, their sneak peek on Facebook!  Lovelovelove!

A favorite!

The one on the right…yes, another favorite!

We ended the warm summer evening at a nearby barn.

Another favorite!

They brought along a favorite souvenir from when Scott proposed!

Love both of these!

Kelly and Scott, thank you for sharing your evening with me!  And for enduring the heat and humidity!
I am so excited for your wedding day - I know it will be nothing short of amazing!
