Sneak Peek: Emily Claire: 3 months

Pin It More proof of how much I love my job!  A few months ago, I met Heather and Brian for their maternity session.  They are an adorable couple, and two of the most genuine people I've ever met.  They were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their daughter, Emily, who was just as sweet as her parents. As the expression goes, time flies when you're having fun...and oh how much fun Heather and Brian have had since the birth of Emily!  I've been so excited to see how much she had grown since her newborn session...I almost could not handle just how adorable she is!  Her sparkling blue eyes, her sweet smile, oh my goodness! Check out some images from her 3 month session!

Let's just start off with a favorite!

We had a beautiful fall afternoon.

Emily, you are simply adorable!  I love this one!

 So sweet!

Hi Emily!  I love how she's looking right at me!

Thank you, Brian, Heather, and little Emily!  What a fun afternoon!
You guys are such a sweet family, I always look forward to spending time with you!
 More to come soon!
Wishing everyone a Happy + Safe Halloween!

Sneak Peek: Senior: Bryan

Pin It Meet Bryan, Senior Class of 2011!  We had the perfect fall afternoon for his Senior Session!  It was such a fun day, and quite special to me because Bryan is my cousin.  I remember when he was born, when I felt strong because I could lift him with straight arms...then the next thing I knew, he was taller than me and could beat me at arm wrestling and just about any game that we played!  I absolutely love my family, and I've been blessed with 3 amazing cousins, all boys, who are all super talented, athletic, intelligent, witty, caring, humble, down to earth, and handsome.  Bryan is one of the three, and I'm so proud to call him my cousin and friend.  It was truly an honor for me to take his senior photos, and I'll never forget it.  Bryan, here is your Sneak Peek, with many more to come soon!  Best wishes for a Happy Fall Break!  And good luck this weekend at your college visit...I'll be cheering for you!

Bryan has a great smile.  I love this one.

And he can be serious too.  He rocked his entire session...I have so many favorites!

What a great smile...and those eyes!

Favorite! :)

Some passers-by thought I was crazy to be out in the middle of the street...it was worth it!

Bryan loves baseball, and is one heck of a pitcher.  If I remember correctly, he's throwing in the high 80's and keeps getting faster and faster.  Very impressive!
As I  mentioned, my cousins are great at everything they do.

This one was Bryan's idea...and I just love it.
We got to be on the field for these, which was pretty cool.

Bryan, thank you for such an awesome afternoon!  It was so fun to hang out!
I'm so proud of you!
And a special thank you to Bryan's personal stylist and my two assistants - you guys are the best! ;)

Family: John + Lana + Harrison + Louree + Greer + Parker

Pin It I've been so excited to show more from this fantastically fun family's session!  As I mentioned in their Sneak Peek, they are a happy, close-knit family up for anything!  Harrison, Louree, Greer, and Parker all love to play soccer. And their parents, John and Lana, are their biggest fans!  Louree had been injured during a soccer game just a few days before our session, but she rocked it out in style, along with the rest of the family.  And when I said they were up for anything, I meant it!  Take a look!

I love this one!

Another favorite!

Hi there, Parker!

The brave and beautiful, Greer!

 Hello, Harrison!

 Seriously sweet, Miss Louree!

Have I mentioned how much I love her shoes?  They are the perfect fall accessory!

Lana and John couldn't stop smiling at each other.  I just love when that happens!

Another favorite.  Yes, I am allowed to have more than one...or two, or three. :)

Yes, another favorite!
Our last shot of the evening...I promised that you two would love this,
and I really hope that you do! :)

John, Lana, Harrison, Louree, Greer, and Parker, what a great session!
Thank you for sharing your evening with me - I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Pin It It's a beautiful autumn Friday, and I'm working on editing a lovely wedding...Leah and Daniel's Wedding to be exact!  I saw this image of the two of them, just after they had said "I Do!"  I caught this sweet kiss during their first moments alone as husband and wife.  Leah and Daniel, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding, it was absolutely beautiful!

Mason: 18 months

Pin It As you know by now, I'm quite smitten with Miss Mason.  And it's so easy to see why!  Since she was born, I feel like she's grown up right here on my blog. She's always got a smile, a laugh, or a hug to share.  A few weeks ago you saw Mason's Sneak Peek from our time spent in a little garden, watching squirrels scurry from tree to tree on a cloudy afternoon. How about some more from her session?  Yes, please! Coming right up!

Oh, Mason, what a sweetie!

Mason absolutely adores her little bunny rabbit - she hugged him all afternoon!

A favorite!

Walking on a pretty pathway...watching squirrels frolic and play in the distance.
There were several squirrels running around, gathering nuts, and hiding them for winter.
Mason wanted to befriend one so badly!

 Another favorite!

 Loooove this!

Sweet pink dress, ruffled socks, and little black Mary Janes!

Mason, thanks again for spending the afternoon with me!  It was so fun to watch you run and play!
Can't wait to see you again soon!

Wedding: Candice + Patrick

Pin It It was a Friday afternoon. The phone rang.  A nervous, yet excited voice on the other end mentioned that he was getting married and needed a wedding photographer...for a Tuesday afternoon wedding in September. I loved hearing the excitement in the groom's voice as he described their upcoming wedding details and venue.  I remember hearing him say something about a little white chapel, enclosed by a white picket fence, surrounded by grass and woods.  Oh, and they would be surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family members.  It was like the chimes of wedding photography heaven rang in a harmonious symphony!  Ok, maybe I'm being a little over-dramatic, but I knew this wedding would be nothing short of fabulous.  And what a fabulous day they had, the bride and her groom. Oh, Candice and Patrick!  Under the blue sky, as witnessed by the people dearest to them, they vowed to spend forever making each other happy.  And as you'll see by their smiling faces in the images below, they'll indeed love every minute of forever.  Together.  Congratulations, Candice and Patrick!  And thank you so much for the honor of allowing me to capture your special day!

Patrick has this cool 1937 Cadillac, which you'll see more of later.

Off to the ceremony!

Quite possibly the most adorable wedding venue!

These two were all smiles, from the moment they arrived at the ceremony site, just non-stop smiling!
Love it!

They're even smiling as they kiss!

Married!

I adore this series!  Just after their recessional! So incredibly sweet and perfect!

As guests departed the chapel, these two made a run for it!

A sweet congratulatory kiss from her father, love this one!

After some family portraits, the guests were off to the reception.
Meanwhile, Candice and Patrick had planned plenty of time for photos of just the two of them, that we would not have been able to capture otherwise.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
(Future Brides, please consider allowing plenty of photo time for you and your husband to relax and just be together...trust me on this!  If it's before the ceremony, after the ceremony, whenever, just be sure to plan for it!  It's so worth it! Ok, off my soapbox now!  :)  )

I'm sure Patrick won't mind my sharing this, only because it is so sweet, I think his new bride would love to hear it...Soon after the wedding, I had been in correspondence with the groom, and he wrote this regarding his newly minted bride: "Thanks again for coming to shoot the wedding...I agree that it was beautiful, my lady has a way of doing that to every day."

It was so much fun to watch the two of them together, enjoying newlywed bliss...just walking, laughing, kissing, twirling...together.

Patrick is so dashing...one look from him, and she has no choice but to steal a kiss.

A favorite, of course!  Love their wedding shoes!

 Candice, you are beautiful.  Beautiful!

Don't you love the way Patrick holds her?

They smiled and laughed as they looked the gorgeous new rings that now grace their fingers.
Yesss, we're married!!!!!

I love their rings, so unique!

Butterflies were everywhere, as if on cue.

Then it was time to head off to the reception to sign the Marriage Certificate!

Candice and Patrick used the same cake knife that had been present at five family weddings since 1972 and several family wedding anniversaries!  What a perfect heirloom!

How could I resist these shoes? And the light?  I just couldn't resist!

And more photo time with that sweet 1937 Cadillac!

Love this one!

You two are just too sweet together.  I love it!!!

Candice and Patrick, what an amazing wedding!
And what a wonderful circle of family and friends you have around you,
everyone is so sweet and so nice!
Thank you again for letting me witness the love and happiness of your wedding day.
I wish you all the very best!  Congratulations!!!
